Zagg is the originator of this, in my opinion, best available protective skin for device displays. As a former US Army Helicopter mechanic, I am actually familiar with the material as it is very similar if not the same as the material used on the leading edge of rotar blades to protect them from abrasive debris.
Zagg describes their skins as, “Exceptionally clar, unbelievably thin and virtually indestructible.” Though a little more work to apply than some skins, the result is well worth the effort.
I believe in protecting my sensitive electronic devices from day 1. When I buy a new lens for my Nikon, I buy a clear filter with it. When I take the new lens out of the box, the first thing I do is install the filter to protect the front glass. I do the same thing with my devices.
My iPad 2 is close to 2 years old now and still has the original Zagg Invisible Shield on it that I intalled when I took it out of the box. I know that I took the Zagg Skin off today, the glass screen would look as pristine as the day I bought it.
Did I mention that the skin has a lifetime warranty? The skin on my iPhone did get wrinkled up on one edge due to the case that I was using with it at the time. I just logged into my Zagg account, requested a free replacement and when it came in, sent the wrinkled one back.
Zagg makes the Invisible Shield in custom sizes for just about any popular device you can think of, from phones to tablets by all the leading manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Sony, Motorolla etc.
I do love my Zagg Invisble Shield and would definitely recommend it for any expensive electronic device. Check out the offer below to save some money on your invisible skins.
